3D TREE WITH NATIVITY ORNAMENT
This 3D tree Nativity ornament is handcrafted in Bethlehem by the Giacaman Family, a group of master olive wood carvers who have passed their craft down through generations. Each piece is carefully shaped to bring the Nativity scene to life in a simple, beautiful way that highlights both the story and the natural character of the wood.
The family’s work is led by Ibrahim Giacaman, a fourth-generation Christian woodcarver who works alongside his father, Salem, at the largest olive wood factory in Israel. Ibrahim learned carving from his father and grandfather, Elias, and later studied art and sculpture in Bethlehem and in Florence, Italy. Today, he continues the family tradition by designing and finishing each piece by hand.
Every ornament is carved from olive wood sourced from pruned branches, never from cut-down trees. The wood is naturally dried for over a year before it’s worked, giving each piece its own tone, grain, and character. Small variations, knots, and natural marks are all part of what make it feel real and unique.
Because each piece is handmade, no two are exactly alike, every ornament has its own personality and charm.
